Description

Lavender is highly aromatic flowering shrub native to the Mediterranean. It reaches a height of up to 80 cm with pink to purple flowers produced on 2-8 cm long spikes on the top of leafless stem. Lavender was first grown in the valley regions of central Bulgaria in the early 19th century. Favouring the climatic conditions, lavender plantations can now be found throughout the whole country.
