Puncture vine – Tribulus terrestris

Description

Puncture vine is an annual herbaceous plant widely distributed throughout Bulgaria. It is commonly considered as a summer annual weed. The Puncture vine has prostrating form with the stems radiating from the crown to a diameter of up to 1 meter. It produces small yellow flowers, which are developed into hard fruit with two to four sharp spikes.
