Black elderberry – Sambucus nigra

Description

Black elderberry is a common native deciduous shrub or small tree in Bulgaria. It can reach up to 9 meters tall and wide. In late spring to mid-summer the Black elderberry produces clusters of white or cream flowers, which mature into dark purple to black berries in autumn.
